Wayward Scribe -- A Short Story: Now Available in Ebook Format for $0.99

Total Read Time: 1 minute

I’ve just released my new fantasy short story, Wayward Scribe. It’s written in first person, present tense, which is something I haven’t done before.

Right now you can find the Kindle version on Amazon and all other ebook formats on Smashwords for $0.99. It should be showing up on other retail sites (Barnes & Noble, Apple, Sony, etc.) in the next week or so, with Kobo being the likely exception. (It’s been 5 months since I first uploaded The Unclean, and it’s still not listed on their site! Seriously, Kobo, why are you so ridiculously slow? *shakes fist*)

Here’s the product description:

When history repeats itself and an ancient enemy invades the kingdom, the actions of one scribe will shape the future. But being a catalyst is no easy task when caught between two warring cultures. With stakes like these, there can only be one goal: survival.

Download of this 2,700 word short story includes an excerpt of Jacquelyn Smith's debut fantasy novel, Soul Seeker (coming soon).

You can also add Wayward Scribe to your bookshelf or review it on Goodreads. ;)
